Neighborhood Pride
The Neighborhood Safety Academy took place on Monday, April 12 and Tuesday April 13 at St. Elizabeth Church. Fifty-eight residents attended the Safety Academy presentations. A certificate of participation for each resident who took part was presented with by Mayor Coleman during the Community Night on April 15th.
You may have noticed the Neighborhood Pride activities in our neighborhood. City crews were busy sweeping the streets, painting fire hydrants and trimming trees to help improve our neighborhood. Traffic speed trailers were placed in the neighborhood and code enforcement officers inspected every property in our area for possible violations.
On April 13th, volunteers from the banks in our area assisted with litter pickup and over 1,000 pounds of litter were collected.
